TAKE MEASUREMENTS

In order to take the baby and child’s measurements you will need a measuring tape. The baby should be lying down and the child should be standing in a relaxed position, arms down.

Measurements should be taken over light-weight undergarments. Make sure that the measurement tape is close to the body without being too tight.

HEIGHT: With the baby lying down, use a measuring tape from the top of the head to the base of the heel.

With the child standing up, back and heels against the wall, mark the highest part of the head with the help of a straight object, like a book. The height is the distance from the floor to that mark.

CHEST: Measure around the chest and shoulder blades.

WAIST: Measure around the waist.

HIPS: Measure the hips around the largest part of the bottom.

SLEEVE LENGTH: Distance between the beginning of the arm and the wrist, with the arm slightly bended.

SHOULDER TO WAIST: Distance between the shoulder and the waist.
